#ETHERNET FIBER MEDIA CONVERTER SERIES#The IMC-470 series provides two 10/100/1000Mbps copper UTP ports and one fiber port, that is available in an SFP form factor, as well as for fixed-fiber in single-mode and multi-mode. The diagnostic features allow the network administrator to quickly identify network faults. The IMC-450 and 470 support troubleshooting features such as LinkLoss and Fiber Alert which can be enabled/disabled by DIP switches. They also increase the scalability of a network by providing rate conversion ,distance extension and multiple types of fixed fiber connectors or open slots for small form-factor pluggable (SFP) connection. In addition, these media converters feature in automatic link restoration. It can be installed anywhere a network connection is required. IMC-450-SLST The IMC-450 and 470 series are standalone media converters with an optional internal power security device that make the connection between copper and fiber cables. If a link fails on one interface of the media converter, the media converter will force the link down on its link partner and then forward it to the next interface. This feature, when enabled, will pass a link fault through the device at each segment. LFPT is a troubleshooting feature that combines TX LinkLoss (Twisted Pair, copper interface) and FX LinkLoss (Fiber, fiber interface) from both the local and remote IMC Networks media converters, when used in pairs. The IMC-350 LFPT series supports Link Fault Pass Through (LFPT) functionality. Its AC adapter and USB connectivity offer an unsurpassed flexibility for a variety of installation needs. The multiple powering options including IEEE802.3af Power-over-Ethernet standard allow IMC-250I series to function as a power device. The IMC-350I series is in industrial grade and can operate in wide temperature. With a variety of model types in terms of its play-n-plug feature and multiple powering options, the IMC-350 series is easy and convenient for any applications. Supporting both 10/100 auto negotiation on the copper port and also 100Mbps full-duplex on the fiber port, the IMC-350 series serves as media and data rate converter. They can extend the 10 and 100Mbps twisted-pair network segments up to 80km over fiber technology. IMC-350I-MM-PS-A The IMC-350 series is the most compact media converters. The intuitive Graphical User Interface provides a real-time representation of all installed converter equipment and enables network managers to control and monitor device functions, port settings and receive device status information and traffic statistics via SNMP. It enables network managers to configure, update, manage and monitor through IMC-710. #ETHERNET FIBER MEDIA CONVERTER SOFTWARE#Utilizing managed media converters in your network allows for easy troubleshooting at remote sites without the initial need for a costly truck roll.iView² is a Simple Network Management Protocol-based (SNMP-based) element management software dedicated to Advantech’s intelligent IMC-574 and IMC-700 fiber module series. Through this connection, the network operator can remotely monitor and control all compatible modules via iView² from a central site. The modular chassis also supports network management functionality via iView² and its SNMP for remote management and monitoring. An intelligent chassis with an installed SNMP management module can connect to the network. Running on wide speed ranges up to 10GE transmission along with AC or DC power input for a redundant power solution, these media converters allow for higher deployment, flexibility, and stable operation. Conversions from twisted-pair copper cable, multimode fiber, and singlemode fiber to many other types of cable are all possible with the comprehensive array of solutions from Signamax.Advantech provides reliable and flexible high port density media converters consisting of chassis and a variety of Ethernet to fiber converter modules. #ETHERNET FIBER MEDIA CONVERTER SERIAL#These products convert an extensive assortment of data – from serial RS-232 through Standard, Fast, and Gigabit Ethernet protocols. Signamax provides media conversion solutions that support data, voice, video and image transport over a wide variety of transmission media. ![]()
